A Creative Thinking to Creative Future

A Creative Thinking to Creative Future

What I Think About Creative Industry
In my opinions the creative industry bases on an important source that imagination and creation of human. The creative industry order people to use their imagination or creation which is source from the brain, then we should transform it to a product. So, there is another question that how could we find the source of our creation? How to combine these sources with our own think? How to export it and how to explain it to the audience?

The Source Of Creation
How to find the source? History is an significant source for us. The history could provides us many things which can brings our memory. On the other hand we could know the popular tide insists in history. To know what is the core culture of that period. For example, the Punk style in 70’s, it has a magnificent influence for people until now. The Beatles advance the Punk style to the world and it has a magic for people until now. “Punk’s signature mixing of references was fueled by artistic developments such as Dada and postmodernism,” said Thomas P. Campbell, Director and CEO of The Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Thomas P. CampbellPh.D. (born 1962), is the ninth director of The Metropolitan Museum of Art, the largest art museum in the Western Hemisphere. After fourteen years as a curator in the Department of European Sculpture and Decorative Arts, specializing in tapestries, he was elected Director and CEO on September 9, 2008.

The second important source is the culture. As we know there are many different culture in the world. Each culture has it’s core value. Although these culture has different developed process but we can choose some part of it which can stand for the culture itself. For example, the cowboy culture in America. The cowboy culture is a typical local culture and the it spread all around the world. Just focus on the Hollywood, we can see the west movies, that type of movie bases on the cowboy culture, it includes many habits or nature facts of west culture.

The third source is the symbol. The symbol also has an important influence for it’s period. On the ground of it, the key is that symbol has guiding force. For example, a famous movie <<V For Vedentta>>, the symbol “V” stands a brave, smart, foxy and daredevil man, V. He dare to against the centralization of state power, not only himself, but also the public. That the influence a “simple” symbol brings to us. Whatever what symbol is, it is a spirit symbol for itself.

                                                                <<V For Vedentta>>

V for Vendetta is a 2005 action thriller film directed by James McTeigue and written by The Wachowski Brothers, based on the 1982 comic book of the same name by Alan Moore and David Lloyd. Set in London in a near-future dystopian society, Hugo Weaving portrays V — a bold, charismatic freedom fighter, attempting to ignite a revolution against the brutal fascist regime led by Adam Sutler (John Hurt) that has subjugated his country. Natalie Portman plays Evey, a working-class girl caught up in V's mission, and Stephen Rea portrays the detective leading a desperate quest to stop V.
The film was originally scheduled for release by Warner Bros. on Friday, 4 November 2005 (a day before the 400th Guy Fawkes Night), but was delayed; it opened on 17 March 2006, to positive reviews. Alan Moore, having already been disappointed with the film adaptations of two of his other graphic novels, From Hell and The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, after reading the script for V for Vendetta refused to view the film and subsequently distanced himself from it.
The film has been seen by many political groups as an allegory of oppression by government; libertarians and anarchistshave used it to promote their beliefs. Activists belonging to the group Anonymous use the same Guy Fawkes maskpopularized by the film when they appear in public at numerous high-profile events, emulating one of its key scenes. These masks have been seen at Occupy movement events. Lloyd is quoted saying: "The Guy Fawkes mask has now become a common brand and a convenient placard to use in protest against tyranny – and I'm happy with people using it, it seems quite unique, an icon of popular culture being used this way."

How To Transform Creation To Products
Any creation should has a good way to export which we can handle best. So what way it is? It is depends on what way can explain my mind best. For audience, the way should be easy to understand. Because our art must be connect with the commerce, we must earn profit from our major our products. Also, our products could show our mind to people.
Apple Inc., formerly Apple Computer, Inc., is an American multinational corporation headquartered in Cupertino,California[2] that designs, develops, and sells consumer electronics, computer software and personal computers. Its best-known hardware products are the Mac line of computers, the iPod music player, the iPhone smartphone, and the iPadtablet computer. Its software includes the OS X and iOS operating systems, the iTunes media browser, the Safari web browser, and the iLife and iWork creativity and production suites. The company was founded on April 1, 1976, and incorporated as Apple Computer, Inc. on January 3, 1977.[6] The word "Computer" was removed from its name on January 9, 2007, reflecting its shifted focus towards consumer electronics after the introduction of the iPhone.

In my opinion, the products should be a creation itself. We should not trip by traditional style we should create the way/style of ourself. The creation is itself without nothing.
